The M.Sc. Botany work-integrated degree program at Andhra University is dedicated to advancing your knowledge and expertise in the fascinating field of botany. M.Sc. Botany is a work-integrated degree program that provides an opportunity for learners to take – Apprenticeship / Internship / Live project / On-the-job training.

Objectives:
- To understand the scope and significance of the discipline.
- To develop an interest in Biological Research.
- To develop a thrust to preserve the Natural Resources and Environment.
- To make the students exposed to diverse life forms.
- To appreciate and apply ethical principles to biological science research and studies.
- To understand and identification of the flora within the field enhances the basics of plant application of botany in agriculture through the study of plant pathology.
- To understand the ultra-structure and function of cell membranes and cell communication.
- To learn molecular and physiological adaptations in plants in response to biotic and abiotic stress.
- To understand the classification of plant taxonomy, plant ecology, plant anatomy, and plant physiology.
