About the Program
The Master of Human Resource Management program offered by Andhra University is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the field of HRM. This work-integrated course provides students with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the industry, while also studying the theoretical aspects of HRM. The program covers a wide range of topics, including recruitment and selection, employee development, performance management, and more. Graduates of this program will be well-prepared to take on leadership roles in HRM and make a positive impact on their organizations.
MHRM is a work-integrated degree program that provides an opportunity for learners to take – Apprenticeship / Internship / Live project / On-the-job training.

Objectives:
- To develop a sound theoretical base in various concepts and theories.
- To create awareness and sensitize about various issues of the economic, social, political, legal, and ecological environment.
- To develop HR managerial skills in different functional areas of management with practical focus on behavioural skills.
- To evolve problem-solving approaches by applying conceptual and behavioural skills.
- To develop interpersonal competence and leadership qualities to work in a group with team-building approach.
- To fulfill the norms laid under the rules of Factories Act, 1948, and enable students for ratification as welfare officers. Also, to provide career opportunities as HR in public and private organizations.
