About the Program
Master of Arts in History is a two-year postgraduate degree program that majorly focuses on major global events that changed the world, stories, archival studies, and many other things. M.A. in History graduate can work for the government in places like museums, archaeological divisions, educational institutions, etc. This two-year M.A. History work-based learning program is work-integrated, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience while pursuing their academic goals.
M.A. History is a work-integrated degree program that provides an opportunity for learners to take – Apprenticeship / Internship / Live project / On-the-job training.

Objectives:
- To familiarize students with different historical periods, events, and personalities.
- To help students develop critical thinking and analytical skills necessary for researching, analyzing, and interpreting historical data.
- To develop an understanding of the theoretical approaches and methodologies used in historical research.
- To enable students to develop research skills and techniques required to carry out independent research projects.
- To develop the ability to communicate historical ideas effectively through oral and written means.
